FAQs

  • Our boats are docked at N7331 Chapel Dr. Whitewater, WI. Just take the road all the way down to the lake and we will be there waiting for you on the docks. You can unload your items onto the boat by the docks and we will instruct you on where to park once you arrive.

  • Life jackets are included and on the boat. We provide enough standard sized ADULT life jackets for the capacity of the boat (30in to 52in chest size). If you require a larger life jacket please plan to bring your own. Children 13 years old and younger are required to wear life jackets while on the boat. We provide 4 youth sized life jackets which will fit on children 55-85 pounds. If your child does not fit in these life jackets, or you have more children, you will need to bring your own life jackets for them. We always recommend bringing your own children’s life jackets. All life jackets MUST be US coast guard approved.

  • YES! All boat renters in the State of Wisconsin is required by law to have a boaters license. Don’t have one, not a problem. The WI DNR has a very quick and easy temporary boaters certificate course which only takes about 10 mins. Plus, now you can require your friends to call you Captain as you drive the boat! This does mean that anyone who wants to drive, will need to show proof of boaters safety. We do check at the time of rental and will not release the boat if we don’t see at least 1 certificate. (Sorry, the tickets just aren’t worth it!) Below is the link for the WI DNR boaters safety course

  • YES! all pricing includes 1 tank of gas per rental. Don’t worry, these are pontoons and 1 tank of gas will be plenty. If renting for multiple days, typically the boat will need to be refueled after day 5.

  • Our boats have a maximum seating capacity of 10 people. It should be noted that weight of the people in the boat play a huge factor in how the boat operates. If you are looking to tube with 10 people on the boat, that won’t happen.

  • This is an outdoor activity. By booking you understand that there is a chance weather could put a damper on a fun lake day. As long as the weather is not unsafe (Thunderstorms, heavy rain) your rental will go on as planned. Slight rain, clouds, cold temp, will not be a reason for a refund. Weather may end your day earlier or start your rental later. This will be communicated as your day gets closer.

  • A security deposit of $500 will be placed on your credit card the day of the rental. This is a soft hold and will be returned as long as there is no damage to the boat.

Waivers will be emailed to you when you book online. Please fill this out ASAP so you don’t forget.

  • A deposit of $100 is required to book a boat. If you were to cancel for any reason, the $100 is non refundable. Because we are nice people, we will allow you to use that deposit on another rental in the same calendar year. Weather cancelation will be at the discretion of Whitewater Lake Boat Rentals.
